PLEASE NOTE: Entrance is limited to two Singles events (Singles events include Ultimate, Melee, Guilty Gear Strive, Rivals, and Mario Kart) and one Doubles event.

COVID Protocols and Regulations
  • Masks are STRONGLY recommended, and some TOs for events held at Extra Credit may ask you to wear a mask!
  • If you feel sick please stay home - keep everyone safe! We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you get your COVID vaccinations if you haven't already, and please get a COVID test if you are feeling under the weather.
Venue
  • Doors open at 10am!

  • The venue will be located at the Ina Gittings Building, 1737 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ. The main room for check in will be in Room 129b. If you have any issues with finding this location on campus, please message Doomchu#3054 or Spicy#3206 on Discord

  • The first 5 people who bring a full Ultimate setup (Nintendo switch and dock + monitor + GCC adapter) will get their venue waived!

  • If you bring a setup it must be able to be used for bracket matches!

We are also looking for Volunteers and Commentators!
  • FOR VOLUNTEERS: We're looking for 1 volunteer to help with check-ins for Extra Credit and 2-3 volunteers to help with running some side brackets. All volunteers will receive $5 off of venue entry to Extra Credit!

  • FOR COMMENTATORS: If you're interested in commentating Ultimate or Melee at Extra Credit, please fill out the form below! We have open spots for Ult singles and doubles, as well as Melee singles and doubles. Even if you're unfamiliar with commentary, it's a great opportunity to come and get some experience in.

Tournament Details:
  • You are allowed to play in 2 main events, 1 doubles event, and any side events.

  • DQ TIMER: You will have 15 minutes to show up after being called for your set. After this point, you are subject to Disqualification from the respective bracket you are late for.

  • Registration will be available now until April 20th, 7:30PM (Thursday). Ultimate seeding will have a first draft finished by Thursday night. If you have any issues or conflicts, let us know before 8:00PM Friday and we will work on it! For Extra Credit, we use our Friday Fight Night Ruleset.

Rulesets:
Ultimate Singles & Doubles
  • Starters: Final Destination, Town and City, Smashville, Battlefield, Pokemon Stadium 2

  • Counterpicks: Kalos Pokemon League, Yoshi's Story, Small Battlefield, Hollow Bastion

  • 3 Bans, Modified DSR - Opponent cannot pick the last stage that they won on.

  • To pick a stage: Rock Paper Scissors Stage Striking (W1-L2-W1) from starter stages. After game 1, winner bans 2, loser picks from remaining stages

Melee Singles
  • Starters: Battlefield, Yoshi's Story, Dream Land, Pokémon Stadium (frozen), Fountain of Dreams

  • Counterpick: Final Destination

Melee Doubles
  • Starters: Battlefield, Yoshi's Story, Dream Land, Final Destination, Pokemon Stadium

  • No counterpick stages for Melee Doubles
