Summary
Davis Sparks graduated High School when Overwatch first came out, and has found himself playing it ever since. Davis first found Overwatch interesting as he called it a clever merge of Halo/Call of Duty with ability games like Smite. Davis played Football in Middle School and switched to Tennis in High School, finding his teamwork in Overwatch to be no different. He views his talent in teamwork to be long built, puts it first with the team.
Davis explains that the UArizona Overwatch Team acts as “friends first and teammates second”. He values that the team hosts personal gatherings and parties to get to know each other as people. He strongly believes his teammate’s relations with the rest will last far beyond the team’s current time in Competition. Aside from “Drizzle”, Davis can go by “Driz” or “Drizzy” by his teammates.
Davis has other interests in making people laugh over his Twitch Stream (username: DrizzleSparks) and singing in his free time.
Career
Davis has accepted a position at MKS Instruments starting in the Summer of 2023, and will work as an Optical Metrology Engineer.
