Carlos "Dragnevar" Castellanos

Summary

Carlos Castellanos has played Overwatch since he was 13 years old, during the game's beta release in 2016. Carlos has a history of FPS gaming, having extensive practice in Team Fortress 2 before the release of Overwatch. He has a particular passion in most FPS games that prioritize a character’s abilities beyond Overwatch as well. Carlos has experience in leadership and team building and sees its vital connection to Overwatch Competition. He took extracurriculars in School such as SkillsUSA and Upward Bound.

Carlos speaks highly of his Overwatch team, stating that it’s made his time in college incredibly memorable. Carlos hopes for the experiences to grow across campus so more students can experience what it’s like to play. His fellow players also refer to him as “Car”, as it’s short for Carlos.

Career

Carlos looks forward to completing certificates in Cybersecurity at UArizona. He studies to potentially develop and manage security systems for a future company.
